The process begins with a phone consultation with a design/build professional. We listen to your needs as well as any ideas that you may have for your project. After gaining an understanding of what you would like to accomplish, we set up a site meeting.
Step 2. Site meeting
The site meeting is designed to give us the information needed to create a customized solution for your specific needs. We will discuss many aspects of your project such as (but not limited to) design, budget and level of finish. After carefully listening to and discussing your goals, we will create a project profile for your home.
Step 3. Project profile
The project profile is an initial overview of the investment range, renovation size and level of finish needed to meet the goals set forth in previous meetings. During this meeting we will provide a flow chart that covers every step, including design, architectural work, engineering, and interior finish work needed to start construction. We will also discuss the estimated timeframe for both the start and the completion of construction.
Step 4. Start
Upon your approval of the parameters set forth in the project profile and a down payment of approximately 3 percent of the total estimated expense, we enter the design phase. Another 3 percent down payment is required upon completion of design, at which time we are ready to start construction.
